It's popular to pick Western names and such for things like that in Japan I'm pretty sure, so it might be something like that?
... On the other hand, I wouldn't dismiss something religious having to do with it either. Yumenosaki once put on a sort of choir event after all... I have an outfit from it.
It's, uh, really cute. Or it was really cute, when it wasn't invisible. It has very short shorts and stockings and... I guess technically I have a picture of it, but I'd rather not post it here.
