If you must know, I had dreams where I was performing onstage as a singer. I'm a music major, in case you don't know. Before I took up modeling, everyone used to comment that I have a decent voice, and I like the idea of doing that someday. So I used to get those dreams at night when I was younger.
It's pretty boring, I know. I don't get any of your fantasy dreams that you've been having because I'm not into that. But that should be boring enough for you to sleep on, right?

That's the thing; I actually hate the concept of idols. Dressing up in those gaudy outfits and performing cutesy songs in a group while the audience swings their stupid glowsticks along with the music... I don't get the appeal at all. But being a normal solo artist isn't so bad, I guess.
Also, who are you calling a cactus, Takumi? I didn't come so far in my modeling because of a crabby personality, you know. I'm helping you deal with your tragic backstory, aren't I? You should be grateful.

i never said being a prickly cactus is a bad thing. some find it charming, so stop being offended, mother. i have to endure your smothering already. i think i'm allowed to state an educational observation about your personality. it's kind of heartwarming to see you all soft, though. i'll definitely confide in you in the future, but don't force yourself. if you feel uncomfortable with whatever, you don't need to tell me until you're ready.
