he's more like a kid if anything
i remembered taking him to a hospital bc of a broken arm and i was fussing over as if i was his mother
it just doesn't make sense how someone like him was our king despite knowing that he has talent
no subject
He did mention something about you being naggy when I was nagging him in one of my memories, I guess.
Maybe he's the type of person who's serious when he needs to be, but until then, he'll do whatever he wants?
no subject
that does make sense
but at the same time no wonder it seemed we were falling apart in that Judgment live
like yeah we didn't disband but... what happened after that?
did we just welcome him back to our arms after everything he'd done to us?
no subject
"I will do everything I can to make sure there will be no regrets. That is my family's motto."
That's something Suou said.
Maybe it wasn't welcoming, but he let him back in to make amends? Take responsibility? Something like that.
no subject
maybe it's bc he keeps skipping idol work and he just wanted to prove to us that he's still up to snuff
maybe he asked nazunyan and the president to work with him so that he'd be practically hard to break once the Duel is down to the very last people on stage
no subject
I wish I knew how Duels work anyway. Going by their name, it seems like it'd be a one-on-one fight? That's what they were traditionally.
no subject
i got it while playing chess with kuma-kun and it makes sense
it's basically human-sized chess
typically 4 players in 2 groups; the leader of each group would be assigned as King
at each respective group's discretion, representatives would be sent out to the stage one by one to sing and dance in front of the audience
you can choose to send out one or two or even all of them, depending on the kind of strategy you have
then the audience would vote on which group performed better
the winning representatives stay on the stage while the losers take off and that unit has to bring out a new one, much like real chess
this repeats until the kings are the only ones left on stage
and there you have it
at least that's the gist of it
no subject
[ ...so who was theirs? probably sena, if he'd been acting as the leader before leo returned... that makes sense. ]
It sounds very noble ♪
And like you don't have to actually have any experience playing chess in order to participate.
Are the other members assigned roles too then? That's kind of cool.
no subject
but that's all i know
oh, and naru-kun and i fought against nazunyan and kiryu but i don't remember any roles from that particular duel either
no subject
I see.
Sena-senpai, I have a question.
It isn't about any of that, but...
[ "a repulsive scheme"... "our grave crimes"... "i do hope that it serves as a kind of purification ceremony"... ]
What did Knights do during the DDD?
no subject
what the hell IS a DDD
don't just spout things about our memories and acting that i know Everything about them, kasa-kun
no subject
Sorry for thinking you'd have more knowledge than me just because you've been on here longer, Sena-senpai.
I won't make that mistake again.
[ ............ ]
I didn't mean to get snippy.
It's just
I seemed very concerned about Knights' reputation after that, and I called initiating one of those "Duels" against Trickstar (?) a kind of purification ceremony for it...
Or I hoped it would be.
no subject
don't test me just bc we used to have history together
really though, if you think mentioning stuff like that to me from out of the blue is going to trigger something in me
it's not working
purification ceremony? it's probably because leo's gone missing for a while like you said
maybe it just meant that we needed a refresher?
i don't know, i can only speculate what happened until i see this for myself
though i DO remember the Duel against trickstar
as in the performance itself
no subject
no subject
i can only remember bits and pieces, kasa-kun, not the entire thing
that's how unreliable these memories can be
no subject
I wish we'd remember everything all at once. That'd make it all a lot easier, wouldn't it?
no subject
and you'd look stupid staring into space for 2938234 minutes bc a full-length feature movie just appeared in your head from out of nowhere
and besides, not everyone wants to remember all of what had happened
no subject
but he bites his metaphorical tongue on that ]
Maybe you could just experience it all as a dream. Then it's only a few hours even if it feels like forever...
But no, I guess not everyone would.
no subject
so yeah
we don't even know how and when these memories trigger so maybe if you'll mention the DDD to me again a few months from now maybe i'll remember
